Vada Pearl Hill

Vada Pearl Hill, 81, Dawson Springs Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Lamb Funeral Home with Brent Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the funeral home.

A native of Crofton, KY, she was born November 10, 1940, the daughter of the late Jewel Blankenship and the late Edna Mae (Austin) Blankenship.

Vada was a housekeeper and a member of Second Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jewel Clifton Blankenship and John Blankenship; her sisters, Ann Cook and Mary Catherine Blankenship.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Charles T. Hill, Hopkinsville, KY; her sons, Tommy (Loretta) Hill, Hopkinsville, KY, Anthony Dale (Maria) Hill of Illinois; her daughters, Jullie West, Hopkinsville, KY, Brenda (Earl) Ames, Paducah, KY, Paula Jane Rogers, Evansville, IN, Marlene (Steve) Hayward, Aurora, KY, Melissa (David) Hill, Hopkinsville, KY; her sisters, Eula West, Hopkinsville, KY, Bessie (Dorris “Buck”) P’Pool, Louisville, KY, Maria Hale, Hopkinsville, KY, Margaret Bischoff, Louisville, KY; her brothers, Leonard Earl (Lottie) Blankenship, Hershel Blankenship, Doug (Melissa) Blankenship, Charles Edward Blankenship, James Buford Blankenship, all of Louisville, KY, Joseph Henry (Joyce) Blankenship, Hopkinsville, KY; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
