Velma Duvall, 74, Woodbine Street, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at her home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2025 at the funeral home.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born October 17, 1950, the daughter of the late John L. Gibbs and the late Carrie Lee (Crick) Gibbs.
Velma was a driver for It's a Small World Daycare and had previously worked at Flynn Enterprises.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Duvall; her brother, Howard Gibbs; and her sister, Phyllis Hutchinson.
Survivors include her daughters, Kellie (Larry) Eslick, Angela (Darrell) Brown, Susie (Ricky) Trump, and Sister (Stevie) McGhee, all of Hopkinsville, KY; her sons, Frog (Teresa) Gibbs, Tinker (Tori) Gibbs, Henry (Jennifer) Gibbs, Duck (Mary) Gibbs, and Tim Crum, all of Hopkinsville, KY; her brother, Denver (Julie) Gibbs; her sister-in-law, Tooter Blythe; her caregiver, Kim Moore; her grandchildren, Shelly (Josh) Henderson, James (Amber) Brown, Josh (Courtney) Brown, Courtney (James) Lambert, and Dustin (Kathleen) Pendleton; her great-grandchildren, Jaylin (Shawn) Gardner, Maddie Willis, Harleigh Henderson, Gavin Willis, Owen Henderson, Zander Henderson, Jana Brown, Cameron Brown, JerriAnna Maya, Jacie Maya, Jemma Maya, Barrett Pendleton; and her great-great-grandchildren, Nalaya Gardner and Everleigh Comperry.
