Viola Guthrie

Viola Guthrie, 85, Hampton, GA, formerly of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Piedmont Henry Hospital, Stockbridge, GA of natural causes.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with Kyle Malmberg officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Estherville, IA, she was born February 20, 1936, the daughter of the late Roy Anderson and the late Grace (Salisbury) Anderson.

Viola was a homemaker and a member of Westview Assembly of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Guthrie; and her daughter, Michelle Guthrie Huffman.

Survivors include her son, Mike (Kelly) Guthrie, Hampton, GA; her brother, Archie Anderson of Minnesota; 2 granddaughters and 3 great-grandchildren.
