Virginia Bell Smiley

Virginia Bell Smiley, 78, Gail Street, Oak Grove, KY, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow in Stokes Chapel Cemetery, Todd County, KY.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the funeral home.

A native of Pembroke, KY, she was born January 7, 1942, the daughter of the late William Roy Henderson and the late Mabel (Gant) Henderson.

She was a housekeeper for Jennie Stuart Medical Center and a member of Pembroke Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Donnie Henderson and Anthony Henry Smiley; her daughter, Tammy K. Smiley.

Survivors include her son, Dale Bivins, Mayfield, KY; her daughter, Sheila Wills, Oak Grove, KY; her brother, Joe Henderson, Trenton, KY; her sisters, Mabel Riddle, Hopkinsville, KY, Shirley Ann Baumgartner, Robards, KY; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
