Viva Tinsley

Viva Tinsley, 83, Oak Tree Villa Drive, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Monday, March 23, 2026 at Bradford Heights Nursing & Rehabilitation, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Fruit Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Josh Allen officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Lyon County, KY, she was born December 31, 1942, the daughter of the late Allie Ray Driver and the late Nellie Gladys (Knight) Driver.

Viva was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clayton Tinsley; her son, Harold White; her brothers, Ralph Driver, Faron Driver, and Garth Driver; her sisters, Thelma Sexton, Dean Neighbors, Glyna Sanders, Gloria Blackman, Verna Driver and Brenda Roberts.

Survivors include her son, Howard (Andrea) White, Hopkinsville, KY; her daughter, Veronica (William) Allen, Georgetown, KY; her brother, Kamen Driver, Murray, KY; her sisters, Starr Lewellyn, Murray, KY, Becky Conger and Detra Campbell, both of Marion, KY; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
