W. David Ezell

W. David Ezell, 75, Happy Hollow Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at his home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Bufford officiating and Tony Lewis assisting. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the funeral home.

A native of Pineville, KY, he was born April 22, 1949, the son of the late David Arnold Ezell and the late Ada Lois (Williams) Ezell. 

David had been the finance manager for Williams Chevrolet, Freeman Chevrolet, Bill Ed Chevrolet, Sisk Auto Mall, and Patriot Chevrolet. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Wendell Clay Ezell, Tommy Edwards Ezell, and Billy Don Ezell; and his sister, Hattie Ezell. 

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Retha Jones Ezell, Hopkinsville, KY; his sons, Brandon (Amy) Ezell, Blair (Amber) Ezell, and Blane (Emily) Ezell, all of Hopkinsville, KY; and his grandchildren, Cole Ezell, Allie Ezell, Alyse Ezell, Logan Christmas, Liam Christmas, Talan Ezell, Reed Ezell, Sydney Ezell, Devin King, Wyatt Ezell, Emma Ezell, and Ada Ezell.
