Wanda Welch, 82, N. Abbey Way, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Christian Health Center, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2026 at St. John Methodist Church with Pastor Rob Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Monday, March 23, 2026 at the church.
A native of Logan County, KY, she was born August 9, 1943, the daughter of the late Ferrell Phillips and the late Geneva Claire (Sadler) Phillips.
Wanda was a homemaker and a member of St. John Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Welch and her son, Barry Welch.
Survivors include her daughters, Jan Welch Newsome, Hopkinsville, KY, Kim Welch (Jeff McKinley) Hammond, Clarksville, IN; her brother, William Randall Phillips, Shepherdsville, KY; her sister, Patricia Louise Dodd, Shepherdsville, KY; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
