William "Billy" Goode Obituary

William "Billy" Ray Goode, 75, Russell, Kansas died Monday, January 6, 2020 at Russell Regional Hospital in Kansas of natural causes.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 at New Barren Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in New Barren Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour at New Barren Springs Baptist Church. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, he was born May 20, 1944, the son of the late George Raymond and the late Ola Agnes (Henderson) Goode.

He worked in construction as a bridge builder.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald Goode, Charles "Boone" Goode, and Leland Goode; his sisters, Nancy Sue Goode, Elsie Goode, Juanita Wade, and Dorothy Shelton.

Survivors include his fiancèe, Lisa Abell, Russell, Kansas; his daughters, Shawaka Goode, Kanopolis, Kansas, Heather (Brian) McClendon, Black Wolf, Kansas; his sisters, Wanda Davis, Hopkinsville, Gertie Haskell, Cape Girardeau, MO, Martha Walker, Bowling Green, KY, and Patricia Leyva, Chicago, Illinois; his grandchildren, Caleb Goode and Coral Goode, Micah Galvan, Ambriana  and Brian McClendon, Jr.; and his great-granddaughter, Aria Goode.
