Wilma Sharon Gilford, 94, Russellville Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Lamb Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Bufford officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the funeral home.
A native of St. Charles, KY, she was born October 29, 1929, the daughter of the late Rupert Huddleston and the late Myrtle (Cotton) Huddleston.
Wilma worked at Mid-Continent Springs and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Gilford; her daughter, Linda Kay Grindstatt; her brothers, Henry Lee Huddleston and James Huddleston.
Survivors include her sons, Johnny Lee Gilford, Denison, TX, Billy Ray Gilford and Robert Wayne (Helen) Gilford, both Hopkinsville, KY; her daughters, Sharon Ann (Wayne) Gerke, Hopkinsville, KY, Betty Jean Boyer, Aurora, IL, Rheva Nell (Randy) Hornbeck, Largo, FL, Patricia Eisengart, St. Petersburg, FL; her sister, Donna Redd, Cadiz, KY; 22 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
