Winburn Young

Winburn Young, 87, Thrush Drive, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his home of natural causes.

A graveside service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with Rev. Nick Ashley officiating. Lamb Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born October 17, 1933, the son of the late Girdie Young and the late Earlene (Fruit) Young.

He served in the United States Army and worked civil service at Fort Campbell Airport for 30 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 1913. He was a member at Dogwood Christian Church and attended Highland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Margaret Ann (Fields) Young, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter, Pam (David) Bostick, Hopkinsville, KY; his brother, Wayne (Dixie) Young, Hopkinsville, KY; his sister, Dorothy Sisk, Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren, Ashley Clayton and Brett Clayton; and his great-grandchildren, Layla Clayton and Milo Clayton.
